Thread Painting Basics with Leslie

Ready to take your quilting to the next level? Join Leslie as she introduces you to the art of thread painting—using your sewing machine to add beautiful detail, texture, and dimension to your projects.

In this class, you’ll learn how to “paint” with thread using free motion techniques to create shading, highlights, and artistic effects. This is a great way to add personality and depth to your quilting without needing complicated patterns.

Students should be comfortable dropping their feed dogs and using a free motion quilting foot on their machine.

By the end of class, you’ll have the confidence to start incorporating thread painting into your own projects—and see your quilting in a whole new way.

At the start of the class Leslie will bring a trunk show of some of her thread art to share with her students.  How much fun will this class be, won’t you join us?

Class Policies

1. Students are expected to pay the class fee at the time of registration.

2. Class fee does not include supplies or materials for the class unless otherwise noted.

3. Students receive a 15% discount on all supplies on the class supply list provided by the instructor.

4. Students will also receive a 15% discount on all purchases made on class days! 

5. Class cancellation policy:

• 3-7 days before class = no refund, store credit only
• Less than 2 days before class = no refund, no store credit
• If a teacher cancels class, class fees will be fully refunded.
