The Row by Row Experience for 2019 starts on June 21st. Our free pattern will be an 18" block called "Sunbonnet Sue visits the raspberry patch". Delphine made the sample with fusible applique but if you want to do hand turned applique that would work also. Printed panels of the block center will be available to purchase for those who prefer to not applique.
Visit the Row by Row website at https://rowbyrowexperience.com for all the details. The website has links to all the Rows or Blocks being offered by shops through out the world. Since you can only get the free pattern by going into the shop you'll want to narrow your choices to where you will be traveling this summer :)
On Wednesday, July 19th the shop is hosting a fundraiser work session for our Patriotic quilters and Comfort quilters. If you can sew a straight line, you can help us! The project is Infinity scarves for GreenStone Farm Credit Services. They have purchased the fabric and will make a donation to the groups for making 200+ scarves. Please consider joining us this day to sew up the scarves. Please bring white thread and your machine's walking foot, if it has one.
Lunch will be provided by the shop.
A Request (HELP, PLEASE!) and a Thank You from our Patriotic Sewers!
Several people have stepped up and quilted tops for this group and we Thank you. But we continue to have a need for long arm quilters, so if you haven't offered to quilt a top but would like to, we can still use quilters. Please contact the shop at 989-732-1252 if you are able to help.
We can also use folks to sew on binding and do piecework. You can meet with the groups on their Sewing Days or work from home.
