Quilting & Knitting Retreats + a Pineapple Class to Mention

 Hello Quilters!

Our March newsletter will go out next week but we wanted to get the following information out now without delay.

Pieceful Stitching
Delphine & Staff

The very first retreat which starts Next Wednesday is still waiting for 1 or 2 people to sign up for it.  It's not too late to come and sew to your hearts content with like minded women.  The retreat is requested to Covid-19 vaccinated folks in case you were wondering about that issue.

After skipping a year it is time for the return of the Log House Retreats!  What is a Log House Retreat?  It is an intimate retreat for 12 quilters who share a 3 level Log House large enough to sleep 24 people!  Delphine has hosted the retreats for 9 years with Ann (her "sis") as cook and helpmate.  Starting this year Ann will be your hostess while Delphine will be a guest leaving her more time to attend to matters of the store.

Take the time to register and attend a long weekend of quilting, relaxing, friendship, and delicious meals cooked by Somebody Else in the Log House.   As always, there will be great lighting (each person has their own lamp), room to spread out, two cutting stations and two ironing stations.  Plus, Delphine will lead a One Block Wonder Demo, and give a special Retreat Discount at Delphine's Quilt Shop just 10 short miles away.

Dates are March 2 - 6 (1-2 openings), March 9-13 (FULL), and March 16 - 20 (FULL).

Cost $400 per person, includes 4 nights, 11 meals, and NO responsibilities.

Contact your hostess, AnnMarie Rowland to register, or with questions.

Pineapple Foundation On Top Piecing with Jen

The January and February classes  filled up so fast that we are offering this class again.  Jen's sample is hanging at the shop and is quite lovely.  She used a 10" square set of  Spring Promise by Artisan Batiks for Robert Kaufman.  There are also samples using 1800's style fabrics and another one made from Effervescent!  Learn the basics and pick up tips on making easy Pineapple blocks with the Top Piecing Method of paper piecing which does not require you to flip and sew!

Class cost - $10.00 plus supplies
