Project Jelly Roll Saturday, September 21st, 10:00am-4:00pm Fee: $15 per person Grab a Jelly Roll, pick out a free pattern and stitch the day away! Back by popular demand, we will be participating in Moda Fabric's Project Jelly Roll event. Seating is limited, so sign up now to reserve your spot. Don't forget to tell your friends! Students will receive a 20% discount on any 2.5" strip sets they purchase for the class and a 20% discount on any background fabrics needed for their pattern of choice. You can pick your pattern before class and receive the cutting instructions ahead of time so you can come ready to sew! Plus, we will be doing a gift basket for the event which 1 lucky winner will get to take home with them. Snacks will be provided. Come stitch with us!

Building Blocks Saturday, September 7th, 1:00pm-3:00pm Saturday, October 5th, 1:00pm-3:00pm Class Fee: $10.00 per month, plus supplies If you've already taken a beginner quilt class and are ready for the next step in learning how to quilt, look no further! This class is designed for the beginner quilter who would like to build their knowledge base. You'll learn the next steps in piecing various blocks and make a sampler quilt at the same time. Class meets once a month and each month you will be working on a different quilt block. Examples include the Bear Paw, the Snail's Trail, and Cottage Garden. At the end of 12 months, you'll have 12 blocks ready to assemble in a layout of your choice. Come join Jen as she shares her love of quilting with you. This class will repeat, so you can join us anytime! |

Pineapple Foundation Paper Piecing Tuesday, September 17th, 10:30am-12:30pm Class Fee: $16.00, plus supplies Learn the basics of foundation paper piecing and pick up tips on making easy Pineapple blocks with the Top Piecing Method which does not require you to flip and sew! This is a great way to use up scraps from your stash!

Jelly Roll Rug Saturday, September 28th, 11:00am-4:00pm Class Fee: $36.00, plus supplies Back by popular demand! Did you miss out on making the Jelly Roll Rug a couple of years ago? Or maybe you decided that the pattern looked too challenging? Or MAYBE you just didn't have the time? No more excuses...Now is the time to jump in and have great instruction along the way. Delphine Ren-Miller has led several classes through the process and has made 4 rugs herself. She will teach you step by step how to make the rug and share her invaluable expertise in how you can achieve an amazing finished project. |

Laura Heine Wednesday, September 18th, 10:30pm-3:00pm Class Fee: $28.00, plus supplies Are you familiar with Laura Heine patterns which use a collage method of construction? Do you think they look hard or complicated? Join Delphine Ren-Miller as she helps you deconstruct a Laura Heine pattern and discover these very do-able patterns. We will be using the mini sewing pattern which has 3 designs, 2 are shown here. There is also a dress form. You choose the design you want to make. |

Piecing 101 Monday's, October 21st & 28th, November 4th & 11th 5:30pm-7:30pm Class Fee: $48.00, plus supplies Starting at the beginning, Jen will teach you basic cutting techniques, basic piecing techniques, sewing with a quarter inch seam, chain piecing, notching, and more. You'll learn 2 quilt blocks and how to put them together into a quilt top. These skills will provide to be invaluable as you begin your quilting journey. This is a 4-week class with homework after each class.

Machine Cleaning & Scissor Sharpening Friday, September 27th, 10:00am-3:30pm $75.00 per machine, Husqvarna's $85.00 per machine $6.00 per pair scissor sharpening It's time to get ready for retreat season! Call to schedule an appointment for Aaron to service your machine and sharpen your scissors, 989-732-1252. Times are available for morning and afternoon. Fee is payable the day of service, cash or check only. |

Open Sew Monday's, September 9th, 16th, 23rd & 30th Monday's, October 7th, 14th, 21st & 28th 10:00am-4:00pm Fee: $5.00 per session A day to work on whatever project you want to work on! Bring your supplies, machine if necessary, and join the group for some sewcialization! We have irons and cutting spaces. Bring money for lunch...the group usually orders lunch from one of the surrounding restaurants. |

Patriotic Quilters Thursday's, September 12th & 19th, 10:30am-3:00pm Thursday's, October 10th & 17th, 10:30am-3:00pm This group meets the 2nd and 3rd Thursday each month to work on quilts for veterans in the area. If you want to join us but can't stay for the entire day, that's ok! All fabrics are provided, and all the cutting is done for you. Bring your machine and thread, and help work on these well deserved donation quilts. The group has now completed over 300 quilts because of volunteers like you! |

Wooly Stitchers Club Wednesday, September 11th, 2:00pm-4:00pm Wednesday, October 9th, 2:00pm-4:00pm Fee: $5.00 per session Love working with wool and using different embroidery stitches to embellish your projects? Bring your current work in progress and join this group of ladies who LOVE working with wool. Maybe you can learn a new stitch or two! The club meets monthly on the 2nd Wednesday of the month. |
